Automating Site Backlinks

Should you Automate Site Backlinks or Not

There is no right answer to this question regarding automatic backlinks.  It depends on many factors.  Some of the areas to look at in detail are:

Competition:

How many backlinks do your competitors have? In a highly competitive niche or field you may not have the funds to outspend the guys in the top ten slots in the search results. What does all this really mean to you? At the very beginning of a project you need due diligence to find commercially profitable niches and keywords that are not too hard to rank in the search engines.

Cost vs. Benefit:

What is your estimated net profit? Will your website sell product to visitors once they arrive. That is a serious consideration. If you don’t have a good commercially in demand product there isn’t any point to the exercise. There is a delicate balance, you need to garner visitors, walk-in-traffic, so to speak. If they don’t see anything they want, you won’t make money and all the backlinks in the world won’t help.

Automatic Backlinks Allow You Time for Other Tasks

If you are a great writer, researcher, designer perhaps your time would be better spent doing those creative and potentially profitable tasks.  Let someone else do the heavy lifting when it comes to backlinks.  Manually joining forums and filling out the details for profile links is a mind numbing job.  It is not something I want to do, ever.

I have found a service, SEOlinkcrusher with a number of very reasonable backlinks plans, starting as low as $13 for 2000 backlinks.  They also offer monthly plans for those of you with many websites . Usually a package is only good for one to four urls and related keywords. The keywords are mix and match so they need to be related to the urls submitted.  The bigger packages can be divided up between different sites but to do so you will have to send an email to support when you place the order .Please note that these are all profile backlinks and most sites do not permit anchor text.

Other Types of Backlinks

I have also blogged about the Bloggerhigh plugin that submits backlinks, how valuable, I am not sure.  Also Social Monkey has a backlinks service, again, I cannot say how effective it is.  It is free to try and for the few backlinks that are submitted, it can’t hurt.  The jury is still out on iAutoblog.  iAutoblog spins articles based on your keywords and submits the articles via email to web 2.o sites that you have joined.   Once you have configured the web 2.0 sites for email it is all automatic.   I signed up for the basic package of 5 blogs and the setup of the sites for email was somewhat difficult.  I am still watching it and will report how they do.  There is a service available from another party to set up the web 2.0 sites but it is expensive.  I think they were charging $49.95 to set up 20 blogs.  They would however put in place a  linking structure either circular, pyramid or just plain backlinks and they did include some blog comments.

There is an option to drip feed your backlinks with SEOlinkcrusher and that is what I do.  Although you will receive a report of your created links, do not ping them. Let the search engines find them naturally.
